What do we mean by "British Standards" and "Proud
of
the British Isles"?

Hello and thanks for
looking at this page.
Allow me to explain what we mean by "Proud of the British Isles" - and why it matters. Firstly, let me say it's
not a narrow nationalist statement. It's meant to be exactly the
opposite, all-embracing. Reconciliation and unity is a
major factor in our objectives - first amongst our own Isles and then
amongst those who wish to join us.
The Handyman Group™ is all about providing high quality services to
old fashioned high quality standards in an integrated modern society, taking
pride in our nations and in the quality of our craftsmanship. Anyone who
has recently trained in one of our Universities or Colleges will know
exactly what I'm talking about. There is a resurgence of pride and
passion!

I love my country, I'm sure you do too. I'm a mix of all five
nations. Whether you are
English, Scots, Irish, Cornish or Welsh one of the most important things
I've learnt to appreciate down the years is that class,
colour and creed are an irrelevance now. Thank God for that.
That's democracy for you.
These days, to reside in the UK or Ireland means living in a melting pot of
cultures, colours & faiths.
To our way of thinking this is a good
thing. We Brits and Irish should be proud of who we are and embrace all those who want
to join us. Think about it. If someone genuinely feels proud and
included, regardless of their former heritage, it will solve a
lot of the problems that we face today.
So... Regardless of background, if you can adhere to our stringent
quality controls then you are welcome. If you'd like to be part of one
of the most progressive and interactive networks in the UK, you may like
to consider joining us.
Concept & Mission statement:
- We love our nation. We take pride in British standards and
what we as a United Kingdom have achieved.
- We aim to engender the regaining of lost pride amongst all
indigenous peoples of these Isles; Anglo & Celtic
(English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Cornish etc.)
- We encourage the versatility of cultures that makes us what
we are today, we want all citizens to be proud of being British regardless of
heritage, race, creed or the colour of their skin.
- We are neither exclusive nor racist, any EU member is
welcome to join us in accordance with the law provided they adhere to the same
terms and quality controls as all others; pay their taxes and abide by our
laws.
- We hope to see the restoration of manufacturing,
productivity and creativity similar to the great brand names, products and
services that we the British invented and pioneered -- but have sadly lost over time.
Think of all the great things we British have invented.
The Telephone, Television, Stainless Steel, Tarmac,
Radar, Penicillin, Rolls Royce, the humble Light bulb (yes, that was us before
Edison!) to name but a few. We even invented what you are looking at right
now - the World Wide Web. (Tim Berners-Lee).
We Brits have a lot to be proud about.!
Above all - you the customer can know that you are in safe hands when
you employ workers who are sworn to true British Standards.
It's not a myth - top quality is back again, with pride.
