Handyman work - the type of work involved.

The demands for our services are huge and the type of work varied and straightforward. These are the sort of jobs you will be doing working from home... Please note these extracts are un-edited and came from online enquiries (literally cut & paste) so the typos are not ours!

We've just bought a house and the garden needs tidying up.. to start with.. we have lylindi's at the back of the garden against the fence which are at least twenty feet high. 'm looking for someone who can cut pieces of MDF to size and rout out where needed. Small quantities at a time. Blinds are cut but need them putting up, pictures and mirrors putting up, assembling a flat pack computer desk and chair. Fixing a shower screen in the bathroom.

I am in the process of buying a office. I had a survey completed a couple of weeks ago and they noticed that the office had defective rainwater goods. I wondered if someone could come out to the office and assess the guttering etc & to then provide me with a quote?

I need a man & a van service to move to Kent on the 3rd of February. My garden is very overgrown and there has been some building waste dumped in it also. I would like a quote to have it cleared. Also I have a wardrobe that I'd like to get rid off. it's in good condition and fairly new.
 

We're mid-refurbishment & my husband has broken his arm! I'm interested in quotes or hourly rate for the following office repairs handyman work:

1. Construction of 4 under-bed drawers; materials supplied 2. Construction & installation of a bathroom shelf: wood (oak) supplied. May also involve staining. 3. Bathroom: approx 3.5 sq m of wall tiles (incl. behind basin & toilet); tiles supplied.

4. Bathroom: approx 4 sq m floor tiling; tiles supplied. 5. Removal of 2 lazy-boy type chairs from address to storage unit in Luton, 5.5 miles. Fairly heavy; first floor flat so involves stairs. 6. Laying of engineered wood (laminate-type) flooring: bedroom (approx 16 sq m), lounge (approx 16 sq m), hall (approx 4 sq m). 7. Hot water cylinder (approx 180 L) needs lower immersion heater replaced; remove any lime scale at same time.

My garage door doesn't open properly (I think the cables have gone at the side), I'd also like to arrange for a window cleaning service and have a couple of curtain rails put up and finally change a kitchen tap. Thank you!

I am looking for help in disassembling a green house and erecting a garden house in its place.

I am trying to tidy up the interior of my office in order to sell it. I need some small repair works done, e.g. a door re hung, shelving replaced, etc. and some decorating work etc..

I need a corner display cabinet (flat packed) assembled.

I need someone to fit a new cat-flap to my wooden back door. There is an existing hole in the door, but this will have to be widened slightly to accommodate a new flap.
